To make our ribbons, we use quality, environmentally friendly materials:
Organic cotton ribbon
This is organically grown cotton with natural compost that replaces chemical fertilizers and pesticides. It is GMO-free and the water consumption required for its cultivation is greatly reduced compared to conventional cotton. It does not pollute the surrounding ecosystems, does not exhaust the soil, is environmentally friendly and also preserves the health of farmers.
Tencel® ribbon
Tencel® is made from cellulose from the dissolved pulp of fast-growing trees such as eucalyptus and beech trees. Thanks to the Tencel® manufacturing process, which uses trees from certified sustainable plantations, 99.5% of chemicals are recycled in a closed system. For this reason, Tencel® received the European Award for the Environment from the European Union.
